Video: Writing “Fear Of God” Alone Scared The Hell Out Of Pusha T

While Fear Of God may have been one of the greatest things to hit our inboxes this year, creating the composition scared the hell out of Pusha T since his brother Malice was nowhere to be found this time around. Miss Info sat with Pusha a couple weeks ago during his Fear Of God listening session in NYC to dig a little deeper into his relationship with Malice and how his book was a priority before recording another group project.

AT&T Buys T-Mobile!

|

AT&T and Deutsche Telekom have entered into a definitive agreement for the sale of T-Mobile USA for $39 billion in cash and stocks. The combined customer base of this upcoming behemoth will be 130 million humans, though the agreed deal will have to pass the usual regulatory and closing hurdles before becoming complete. The two companies estimate it’ll take them 12 months to get through all the bureaucracy — if they get through, the proposed network merger will create a de facto GSM monopoly within the United States — but we don’t have to wait that long to start discussing life with only three major US carriers. AT&T envisions it as a rosy garden of “straightforward synergies” thanks to a set of “complementary network technologies, spectrum positions and operations.”

One of the other big benefits AT&T is claiming here is a significantly expanded LTE footprint — 95 percent of Americans, or 294 million pops — which works out to 46.5 million more than AT&T was claiming had it gone LTE alone. Of course, T-Mobile has never put forth a clear strategy for migrating to LTE, suggesting that AT&T plans on using the company’s AWS spectrum to complement its own 700MHz licenses as it moves to 4G. You might be groaning at the thought of yet another LTE band, but it’s not as bad as you might think: MetroPCS already has a live LTE network functioning on AWS, so there’s precedent for it. For further details, hit up the gallery below, the Mobilize Everything site, or the official press release after the break.

In the event of the deal failing to receive regulatory approval, AT&T will be on the hook for $3 billion to T-Mobile — a breakup fee, they call it — along with transferring over some AWS spectrum it doesn’t need for its LTE rollout, and granting T-Mo a roaming agreement at a value agreeable to both parties.

Farrakhan Warns Obama On Libya!

|

The UN-sanctioned attack on rebels and non-combatant civilians loyal to strongman Muammar Gaddafi in Libya have been met with approval by US Republicans.
Some Democrats are questioning Obama’s decision to send air assaults last week without Congressional approval or a clear definition of America’s role in the mission in Libya.
Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke with FinalCall.com about the war in Libya and offered words to President Obama as he shed light on what he feels is the reason for American intervention.
“Our dear brother [Obama] has to be very careful in his decision…whenever government wants you to think and act in a certain way that would bring justification to an action that they are already planning to make, they must make the person that they hate, the boogey man.”

Farrakhan states that in every nation there is dissatisfaction and the CIA moves into a country and aligns with the people to stimulate a revolt against a leader that they don’t like. Although the Libyan people have legitimate grievances, The Minister suggests that imperialist powers such as France, England and the United States aren’t truly concerned with the countrymen.
“What is their dissatisfaction about?” Asks Farrakhan, “…do they have jobs? Yes. Do they have food? Yes. Has Gaddafi used the oil money to build Libya? Yes…Did he impose farming in the desert so that they could feed their own people? Yes.
He warns that the Libyans  may unite against the US and other countries if they kill Gaddafi. He advises that Barack meets with the country’s leader instead of using force and Louis gives his thoughts on the actual reason for war strikes.
“Don’t tell me and wise Black people or White people that you’re interested in Black suffering. Where were you in Rwanda? Where are you in the Congo? Why did you go to Darfur? Because oil is there! No, you don’t want to save the Libyan people, that’s your noble motive to hide your wicked agenda.”

Milwaukee Officer Charged in Social Security Number Fraud

|
A Milwaukee police officer has been charged with stealing a 7-year-old Racine boy's Social Security number to make purchases including a high-end Mercedes-Benz, according to a criminal complaint. Lymon L. Taylor, 33, is charged with felony identity theft in Waukesha County. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison.
Taylor made his initial appearance Wednesday and is free on a $5,000 signature bond, according to online court records.Anne E. Schwartz, speaking for the Milwaukee Police Department, said Thursday that Taylor has been suspended. He has been with the department for five years and had been assigned to District 7.
Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel is prosecuting the case himself, according to online court records. Schimel declined to comment because it is a pending case. Taylor's attorney did not return a call.
According to the criminal complaint, Milwaukee detectives were investigating identity theft by another man, Lee Ellis, who led them to Taylor. Ellis is charged in Milwaukee County with identity theft and possession of cocaine. He has pleaded not guilty and is set to go to trial. Ellis told detectives he and Taylor discussed how to improve their credit ratings and found a company in California that promised to fix credit for $2,500 a person, according to the complaint. The two men plus a third, who has not been charged, received what looked like Social Security numbers, the complaint says. They were told to use their own name and the new numbers as their Social Security number. They also were told to use an address other than their own because addresses are associated with a person's credit rating, which in their cases were bad, according to the criminal complaint. Ellis tried to buy a $29,000 car using his new Social Security number, it says.
Taylor, who previously had purchased six vehicles with his true Social Security number, used the fraudulently obtained number to buy a 2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 from Ernie Von Schledorn in Menomonee Falls in June, according to the complaint, which cites special agent Michael Clemens of the Social Security Administration's Office of the Inspector General. The selling price of the car was not listed, but the Kelley Blue Book suggested retail price of that car is about $48,000. The Social Security number Taylor used actually belongs to a boy in Racine. Detective Charles Shepard from the Milwaukee Police Department's Professional Performance Division, which investigates criminal cases against police officers, contacted the boy's father, who said he wanted whoever was using the number to be prosecuted. Since the boy's Social Security number had not been used previously, there was no credit history, the complaint says. Shepard interviewed employees at the car dealership and A-B Credit Union, which authorized the loan, asking how someone could buy an expensive car with no credit history. A fresh Social Security number would bring a high credit score, according to the credit union. That credit score coupled with a good job would be good enough to buy such a car, they said. A month after buying the Mercedes, Taylor returned to the credit union trying to buy another car. But the second loan was denied because he had not been paying on the first loan for long enough, the credit union employee said.
